Patrick McDonald will help you showcase your research program, lab, or services with a professionally designed website. He also has extensive experience in photography, print design, and layout. Patrick can design a custom website that will comply with NAU’s style guide. Design choices are made to best suit clients’ needs for site updates as well as to suit the needs of a diverse audience.

NAU's new Research website is also based on a custom template with CSS. It is the new home of the Vice Provost for Research website as well, and will be frequently added to and updated by Patrick and the OVP office staff. - NAU Research Greenhouse Complex
The primary mission of the RGC is to support university-wide research. Over the past 20 years they have supported projects that have encompassed many disciplines and departments including: forestry, biology, chemistry, environmental sciences, engineering, Ecological Restoration Institute, Center for Sustainable Environments, and Ecological Monitoring and Assessment. - NAU Arboretum Tree Walk
The mission of the NAU Arboretum is to preserve historic and interesting plants on campus, maintain and enhance the beauty of the campus, and to educate the University and greater Flagstaff communities about these plants. - National Institute for Climate Change Research- Western Region
The Western Regional Center of the National Institute for Climatic Change Research supports research on the impacts of climatic change on ecosystems, and on how altered ecosystems feed back to the climate system. - Office of Regulatory Compliance
The Office of Regulatory Compliance (ORC) was formed in 2006 to coordinate the oversight of all matters of Biological, Chemical, Radiation, and Environmental Programs as well as Loss Prevention for NAU. - Colorado Plateau Analytical Laboratory (CPAL)
The Colorado Plateau Analytical Laboratory specializes in environmental analytical chemistry. CPAL offers research support through sample analysis, instrument training, method development, and class tours and instruction. - Cottonwood Ecology group
The Cottonwood Ecology Group is an interdisciplinary research team composed of scientists from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona and The University of Wisconsin-Madison in Madison, Wisconsin. Emphasizing the need to understand how genetic variation in primary producers structures communities, affects species distribution, and alters ecosystem-level processes, current research focuses on the interactive effect of genetics and hybrid fitness in cottonwoods, arthropod diversity and community structure, plant defensive chemistry, and evolution. - Arizona Heritage Waters
Arizona Heritage Waters has identified the state’s most important scientific, socio-cultural, and historical water sites. This website serves as a comprehensive source of information for the public to discover the extraordinary wonders that these sites possess. - Laboratory for Advanced Instrumentation
This site is a good example of a quick and simple page that can inform visitors of a department's services and contact information without needing too much time involved in developing content. More content and photos can always be added at a later time.
